When ordering a personal, hand drawn commission I ask that you please send your desired photo in pristine condition as well as with clear detail and lighting.  The better the photo, the better your drawing will be.  I'm rather adept at drawing horses so I will say without a doubt that they are by far my most favored subjects.  I have drawn people but I must iterate, I am by no means a portrait artist.  I have several portrait examples to show the scope of my people skills (in my traditional art gallery) but I cannot guarantee absolute perfection and likeness.  My art reflects a style possessed only by me.  I say this only so you know what I can offer.  I like to make my clients happy but I cannot guarantee absolute picture perfection with human portraits.
     Please state size, media and other specifications with your initial request so that I may better interpret your ideas and visualization of your commission.  I will periodically send you an email with a WIP for you to evaluate and suggest changes/corrections that you would like made.  Once finished, you'll get a final email for your inspection.  Once finalized, I'll mail your hand drawn commission to your door.   If you would like your commission done by a certain date, please state with your initial request and I'll be able to tell you if I can take on your commission at that time.

Commission Examples

Bust

A bust drawing is what I refer to as just a headstudy of the specified subject.  Usually they will have no background or a shaded background if the subject is predominantly white.  I generally will not draw the subject edge to edge to allow room for matting and framing.

Full Body

Full body drawings are fairly self explanatory.  They exhibit the subject fully.  Background can be minimal to well detailed.

Multiple Subjects

Multiple subjects can be defined as more than one subject.  They can either be as shown or perhaps 2 (or more) busts drawn on the same paper.  Background can be minimal to detailed.

Digital Paintings

     For pricing of digital paintings you'll need to first send your image with size requirements and specifications so I can best estimate your total.  Please choose an image that is of decent quality and lighting with clear details for best accuracy.  Images out of focus make it hard for me to exact the detail for your painting.  With each digital commission, you will receive the original line art/sketch as well as an 8" x 10" print of your art.

 

Acrylic Paintings

      First you choose the size canvas you want, I have 3 initial sizes but can go larger or smaller to suit your needs, and then I charge by and hourly rate.

18" x 24" = $25 + $15 per hour for (x) hours
20" x 24" = $30 + $15 per hour for (x) hours
24" x 36" = $40 + $15 per hour for (x) hours
